      Verdict

The trio for the shortlist are FLOWING CAPE, Moody Tunes and Rebellious Spirit and we will side with Flowing Cape as the pick. It was a much better effort from our selection to finish fourth behind Rapid City at Leicester last time. He was upped in trip that day which seemed to suit and as we know he will handle the conditions underfoot here a bold bid is anticipated from a decent draw. Moody Tunes is also well drawn and the form of his third behind Royal Dignitary at Carlisle has since been franked. Rebellious Spirit has run some decent races here but he hasn't got his head in front since 2008 and unless the market vibes are positive then he is probably best watched. Mark Brisbourne does well with his runners here and New Star does have the plum draw today. Tous Les Deux is in good form and he is another with a good course and distance record who is well drawn. In fact there are plenty in with chances here, and only narrow preference is for Flowing Cape.
