Verdict

Gladys Cooper appeared to show improved form at Lingfield two runs ago but reverted to type at Yarmouth. SCHOTTISCHE has every chance of transferring the form of his second to a subsequent winner at Newmarket and that shouldn't be problem as he's already a course and distance winner. He's getting 6lb from Kempton scorer Paladin, not taking into account his rider's claim. Miss Lillie was third over track and trip last time and is 10lb lower than when successful here in 2014 so can't be ruled out while Ventura Falcon has only been raised 3lb for winning at Lingfield.
