      Verdict

      GANTIER won over 1m2f at Chelmsford before going close here on his handicap debut. This longer trip should not be a problem for John Gosden’s charge and he’s taken to confirm latest running with Water's Edge. Caplin is proven over the distance though is raised in class off a higher mark having beaten Paradise Boy over track and trip recently while Hurricane Hero is another facing an extra test of stamina having placed over 1m2f in France in October. A winner over 6f last year, Patchouli has her first outing since August.
