In depth
Verdict
Taysh got off the mark with an easy win over a mile at Lingfield in October. He had a subsequent winner back in third and that looks superior form to that of ALWAYS SMILE, a winner over 6f at Kempton on her debut. But Saeed bin Suroor's filly is a half-sister to Group 2 winner Ihtimal so, with this longer distance sure to suit, she gets the nod over another Godolphin representative Arabian Oasis. The latter gets first-time headgear and an apprentice on board after disappointing on his handicap debut while Upstaging was also well beaten on his handicap bow, albeit in much better company than this at Newbury. Mountain Rescue is preferred to the more-exposed pair Marmalad and What Asham on his reappearance.
