In depth

Verdict

LANKARAN showed plenty of promise at Yarmouth on his debut despite starting a big price and running green behind the unbeaten Royal Fleet. Roger Varian’s stable is in top form and he looks the one to side with given Final Watch will need to step up on last year’s efforts having switched yards since. Of the newcomers, Mutawaarid and Murau may prove best over further in time with Just For Yuse and Lion Hunter preferred over today’s trip.
