Verdict

Key Breeze will be looking for some more improvement after finishing plum last earlier in the month, Speedyfix has gone backwards in terms of performance so far this year and Royal Cheer will attempt to find the form that saw her win at Catterick recently but our preference is for FLEETWOODSANDS. The selection was third last time out at Carlisle and found Red China Blues and Piste too good that day. However, he was bumped with a furlong to go and a previous run at the same track saw him just held in second. He remains untried on the all-weather but given the opposition today could be about to lose his maiden tag. Lady Brickhouse is well in at the weights and although she has yet to look like winning this is a good opportunity. Royal Cheer has claims if returning to the sort of form that saw her win two races ago but a disappointing performance last time out means we hold reservations. Towards the bottom end of the handicap she looks well weighted but will need to deliver an improved effort to challenge. Speedyfix has previous course experience and is switched back to the all-weather after his performances have been going downhill on the turf this year. We side with Fleetwoodsands to get the win.
