      In depth

      Verdict

Lacey is consistent and has run here on no less than 20 of his last 21 starts, regularly placed but failing to get his head in front. STONEHAM is another course regular and has gained both Flat successes here, to which he added a hurdling success at Worcester last month. He was unusually below par here the last day but stays this trip well and Silvestre De Sousa is becoming a noteworthy booking for the Channon yard. Call It On has no stamina concerns and has shown enough the last twice to be a contender but My Destination could emerge as the prime threat. That said, he's dreadfully inconsistent yet more than capable on his day and will go very close if at his best. He's worth a small saver if the prices allow.
