Verdict

Surprisingly this hasn't produced anything exceptional in recent years but LONG DOG could change all that. Willie Mullins' charge didn't have much to beat at Sligo but did it in the style of a potentially useful performer and looks the one to be on. Adimelo had some smart bumper form in France and the form of his debut victory over timber at Roscommon was given a boost by the subsequent victory of the runner-up Little Haarth. Henry De Bromhead has two entries and Solatentif beat that winner by a bit further at Gowran so he should go well and his stablemate Three Stars won comfortably at Down Royal though this is very much tougher. Patsio and Space Ship both carry double penalties and will need to improve again.
