Verdict
Not a bad race to conclude proceedings and RIGUEZ DANCER is taken to confirm form with Bridgewater Boys, while Fiddlers Ford is respected. Patrick Haslam's five-year-old stole a march on Bridgewater Boys, who met with traffic problems, when he finished ahead of him here over 1m 6f last time. Even in making excuses for the David Evans inmate, that was as far as he has ever stayed, and his ability to get beyond two miles must be questionable. Even with a clear run he was not guaranteed to have won there, and it is likely that the selection will be better over this trip and he is taken to defy a penalty. Fiddlers Ford has won over further than this, admittedly some years ago, but stamina is clearly his forte and he has shown signs of a return to form of late so might make the frame again. Agglestone Rock was last seen winning over hurdles and he has stamina to prove over this far on the level, and Capitalise looks more likely as he does stay well and should be better for a recent pipe opener. Tampa Bay proved his stamina here last time and can get competitive, while Baan has to prove himself over further than 1m 6f and looks hard to win with. An intriguing end to the evening and Riguez Dancer can take the prize.
