      Verdict

      Dropped in grade, Abe Lincoln is probably the one to beat in this after a fair third at Chelmsford. He has won on Polytrack so should handle this surface, though MAXIMINUS THRAX has more scope. David Simcock’s charge beat the odds-on subsequent winner Cliffs Of Capri over track and trip on only his second start and should have more to offer. La Sioux is another having only her third start but she finished last off this mark at Lingfield on her handicap debut. Wediddodontwe hasn’t raced since making a winning start at Thirsk in 2016 while Mrs Angel is held by the selection.
