In depth
Verdict
A competitive sprint where more than likely Winning Pleasure will be sent off favourite and not without good reason. The four-year-old acts well over this course and distance and is a model of consistency. He made a good comeback when an excellent second after a lengthy break and should go well here, earning him the TEAMtalk vote. The danger looks to be Dil who is another who is at his best over the course and distance and whose stable is in great form at present. He does have a little bit to find with the selection but will surely run a big race. Maktavish proved himself on this surface last time but is better at the minimum distance of five furlongs, while in contrast Further Outlook will appreciate this return to six furlongs but needs to prove he acts on the fibresand. Sir Desmond is a dangerous performer but is arguably not that well weighted at present and is also making his dirt debut here. Miss George should be better for her last outing and is not without place possibilities while Sabana continues in good heart and is another which must be taken into consideration.
