        Verdict

        The less said about the quality of this race the better and punting stakes should be kept to a minimum for obvious reasons if the plan is to avoid either Precaster or Near Dunleer. The Irish form of the latter and the booking of Jamie Spencer make it virtually impossible to ignore her claims and the mare just gets the TEAMtalk vote - despite her tendency to find little when she she comes off the bridle. Precaster is the only viable alternative on the official BHB ratings but Pat Haslam's charge may have to wait for another day for his first victory. Be Warned is at lest consistent at this level and is best of the rest.
