Verdict
MONTE MAJOR is taken to bounce back to form. Derek Shaw's gelding was poor last time for the inexperienced Thomas White but on his previous form for Jimmy Quinn and Sean Palmer, including three wins at the track this year, he should take some stopping. A return to Dunstall Park will suit Straboe, whilst Milton Bradley looks to have a strong hand with several competitive contenders. Towy Boy is 4lbs higher than his win here last time, whilst Ridley Didley and Tyrannosaurus Rex are both handicapped to strike. Recent winners Sharp Shoes and Wooden King are both considered, with the latter the biggest danger under just a solitary pound rise.
