Penwell Hill is taken to follow up his latest victory at the expense of Dubai Dreams, Harry Potter and Intricate Web. This class D handicap has the makings of a hotly-contested affair, but Penwell Hill should be in the shake up after his most recent success at Southwell, scene of all four of his career wins so far. Trainer David Barron gave him a rest after a busy 2003, and the son of Distant View has come back with renewed vigour. This will be his first visit to Wolverhampton and connections are hopeful that it will be a winning one. Dubai Dreams ran well over a trip short of his best at Southwell eight days ago, and can only improve for the step up in distance, while Intricate Web will do well to uphold his latest course-and-distance success over Skylarker on revised terms. The latter was having only his second run back after a break that day, and with Ian Mongan on board, can play a major part. Harry Potter has a bit of an absence to overcome, but the Francis Jeffers-owned five-year-old was consistent last year, and should pick up a race or two over the next few weeks. All in all, in a hard one to call, Penwell Hill gets a narrow vote.
