Verdict
Ladies Knight, Henry Tun and Tuscan Dream are the three to concentrate on in this Handicap, and we will give Henry Tun the narrow vote. This 6-year-old gelding is a course and distance winner who has been showing signs of a return to form of late, and he could be the one to beat in an open affair. He was a little disappointing last time but he had previously run well over this course and distance when a close third behind Best Lead. If he can reproduce that effort, he will be hard to beat. Ladies Knight was a close second behind Whippasnapper last time, but that was over 6 furlongs, and as she is often slowly away in her races, she may struggle now that she is dropped in trip. Whippasnapper has since gone on to run a fair race when a well beaten second behind Type One at Lingfield on Wednesday, so Ladies Knight cannot be ruled out as she is clearly in good heart at present. Tuscan Dream could be a lively outsider in the race as this gelding is a course and distance winner, but he has been badly out of form of late, while Mynd was a winner over this course and distance last time so is another to enter calculations. This looks like an open contest, and we will make Henry Tun our tentative choice.
