Verdict

The toughest race of the evening bar none and TEASING is our pick with Confidentiality and Mozayada offered up as alternatives. Jeff Pearce's mare won in claiming grade in what turned into a tactical race and with only six taking their chances on this occasion, we'll chance that there is a strong likelihood of more of the same. Confidentiality posted a 33/1 shocker on return for Michael Wigham having had a brief sabbatical to Ireland. She has been beaten in small run fields in the past and that is our only reason to oppose tonight. Mozayada has been a credit to connections as she continued an onslaught that saw her in the winners enclosure at Southwell on five occasions since November. She had previously been campaigned as a stayer so the step up in trip should not be the worry. Perfect Act has poor recent form though her trainer most certainly doesn't. Aphrodisia arguably needs to step up on her recent winning form to win this. Quick Off The Mark seems the likely pace setter if anything is read into the jockey booking on this occasion. A case of saving the best till last and Teasing gets the vote.
