        Verdict

        Another weak race and it looks to be at the mercy of One Off, who landed a gamble at Brighton in emphatic style at Brighton last time. The three-year-old fits the typical profile of one of his stable's runners and he should have to much in hand for the likes of Sambaman and Paula Lane; despite carrying a 7lb penalty for his latest exertions. The Barathea gelding found the trip too sharp for him on his last visit to Dunstall Park but need only run up to his latest form to reward those willing to take the likely cramped odds. Sambaman hails from a yard in-form, but was a fortunate winner last time. So Paula Lane may give One Off the most to do.
