In depth
Verdict
Wise Son arrives here in really good form and he can score at the main expense of Angle of Attack and Gross Prophet. The selection ran a blinder on his handicap debut when a close second behind Cat Whistle at Redcar. He is not the biggest, but he does not lack for speed and he should go close. Angle of Attack is the main danger as he was denied a clear run when second behind Victorian Bounty at Catterick last time. That was an eyecatching effort and if he can reproduce that run here then he should get competitive. Gross Prophet is another who has the scope for improvement and he won well last time here when beating Tugalu. This is tougher and he will need to improve but that is not beyond him. Ten Meropa has won over the course and distance and has a good draw so he could prove best of the remainder, but Wise Son looks a nice type and he gets our pick.
