      Verdict

Magari makes more appeal than stablemate Adobe, while old rival Big Mystery should also make his presence felt at this level. Hiawatha and Vibe also have each-way claims on the best of their form and cannot confidently be ruled out. Big Mystery hails from a yard very capable of landing a touch in this type of event and he is one to seriously monitor in the betting market. He is closely matched with the selection and should not be too far away if this goes to form. Adobe would have carried this lot in heyday and can usually be relied upon to run a sound race. However, he is not getting any younger and, as he now lacks a change of gear, he will always be a risky proposition. Therefore, it can pay to side with his less exposed stablemate Magari, who shaped as if her turn is close over this course and distance just over a fortnight ago. Graham Gibbons was in the plate on that occasion and it can be considered significant that he has seen fit to make himself available to keep the partnership intact this afternoon.
