Verdict

Mickey was not beaten far when only sixth behind Tasleet in a valuable sales race at York in August and returns to action. He’s preferred to Kempton fourth Shadad and Fly True of those with experience but a couple of newcomers stand out. Dasheen is a half-brother to three winners that includes the useful Notarised but ISTIQLAAL may prove best on his debut. The 250,000gns Godolphin colt can include Group 1 winner Mount Nelson and a Group 2 winner among his winning relatives and Charlie Appleby’s charge gets the vote.
