In depth

Verdict

FRESH SNOW never troubled the winner Tinker Toy when runner-up at Salisbury but the latter has won again since. The Godolphin filly has a fitness edge over Elmetto and may prove good enough. The latter was beaten only a nose at Kempton on last year’s debut and can figure again but Khayyaal went backwards at Thirsk last time and the remainder with experience make even less appeal. Smart Connection is a full-brother to Group 2 winner Dutch Connection and Listed winner Dutch Romance and is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
