Verdict
BROWN PETE was a losing favourite in an amateur race last week but with an apprentice's claim taken into account, he can race off a lower mark here than when scoring at Yarmouth last month. He gets the vote as Calypso Magic has been below par since finishing third at Windsor in July and this is tougher than the amateurs race at Beverley won by Meglio Ancora earlier this month. Opus Maximus has tumbled down the weights and Baby Driver has claims back on the Polytrack.
