In depth

Verdict

Clarion Call has the form to win this but probably doesn't deserve another chance after downing tools yet again here on Monday. The application of a visor seems like a last resort. We'd rather take a chance on the unexposed WILD WEST, sure to have learned plenty from his debut second at Worcester in June and placed on soft ground in a bumper in the spring. Emrani has been knocking on the door lately and should be thereabouts again while Benefit Of Youth showed ability in NH Flat races, though may need today's experience.
