In depth

Verdict

Zhukov won at his beloved Fontwell earlier this month but is 6lb higher now and has finished well beaten at Southwell since. This is a weak race, however, so he can't be ignored. Molinero travels over from County Tipperary but is a long-standing maiden and has been woefully out of form while Go Get Em Kid and COLDITZ were both pulled up last time. Jonjo O'Neill's five-year-old probably has more scope than his rivals but we'll give another to chance to Richard Ford's gelding who is better than he's shown so far this summer and will appreciate the slight drop in distance.
