SIMPLY SHINING can be forgiven a poor effort in Class 3 company at Ascot and is only 2lb higher than her earlier win at Newcastle. She gets the nod ahead of Zman Awal, who finished closer back over today's trip last time. Zynah finished last of six here on her handicap debut and Byron's Gold has struggled since scoring at Leicester back in May. But Bint Dandy is getting closer as she slips down the weights and is preferred to Don't Be.
