Verdict
Waynesworld is on a roll at present and can account for Possextown, Ladino and Legal Glory to name but a few, with Andrea Gale one for the future. Waynesworld has hit top form over fences of late, winning each of his last three starts, twice at Newton Abbot, and more recently at Fontwell. Unfortunately his chase mark has suddenly rocketed up as a consequence, so you can see why trainer Michael Scudamore has found this opportunity for him over the smaller obstacles while he is still bubbling. The eight-year-old is yet to win over timber, but is taken to put matters right on that score today. Possextown has won on each of his last two visits here, but has not always impressed with his jumping, and has plenty of weight with his penalty, as does Ladino, although he was beaten in a hotter race than this on unsuitable ground at Newton Abbot. It would be no surprise if he were to make a bold bid to get losses back, while Legal Glory absolutely bolted up here last time and should not be left out of calculations. Ex-Irish Andrea Gale has come through the bumper ranks and should be followed as the season goes on, but for now we are happy to side with Waynesworld.
