In depth
Verdict
Jumping will be at a premium here. So it might be might be lucrative to give Hazeljack another chance as he looks more solid at his fences than the likes of Bobosh and Manoram, who are sure to have their supporters at this level. The same comments apply to Oh Vlo, who at least managed a clear round at Newton Abbot on his chasing debut on these shores last time. However, he is obviously no stable star and will no doubt be found easier opening as time goes on. Therefore, we return to Hazeljack for the most reliable option as he has done well in the face of what have proved to be impossible tasks in retrospect. His effort in behind Our Armageddon in the Cathcart reads very well in the context of this race and, even though he has been below that form since, Hazeljack has to merit a second look in this company and could easily spring a surprise if he bounces back here.
