In depth

Verdict

SANDY BOY travelled best throughout when brought with a well-timed run by Ben Jones to beat Mr Mafia here last month. This is a slightly stronger contest but that win will have boosted confidence and a 4lb rise is not insurmountable. Hurricane Dylan could be interesting back over fences on a lenient mark and As You Like has slipped down the weights and has been threatening to end his drought. Commodore Barry is another on a decent mark and Ar Mest has dropped 2lb since his third at Stratford but stamina could be an issue over this trip with Docte Dina also upped in distance after his second at Ludlow. Furius De Ciergues has won over further, however, and is firmly back on track so rates a danger.
