Verdict

Kavi took this race last year and is now only 3lbs higher, so watch the market for support as he bids for the double. Instead though we'll side with R'CAM who was backed as though defeat were out of the question ahead of his last start, only to come unstuck in third. He's been off the track for 174 days since but is capable of going well fresh and off the same mark as when last seen appeals as the type to win races. Rash Moment is something of a Stratford specialist but he is capable of winning elsewhere and couldn't be ruled out despite being 5lbs higher now compared to when second at that track recently, while Havenstone may have had his confidence boosted by some reasonable runs over timber but ultimately looks one to oppose. Likewise Heezagrey hasn't done much over the bigger obstacles so best of the rest could be Autumn Red, who ran as well as could've been expected back from an absence over course and distance and can only improve.
