Verdict
SPICE BAR bolted up at Uttoxeter 10 days ago. Declan Carroll's charge has a 7lb penalty here but that shouldn't prevent a quick follow up as AP McCoy's presence in the saddle is hardly a negative. Midnite Blews should strip fitter for his run at Wetherby in May but a bigger danger may be Cardinal James, who was third off this mark over C&D two weeks ago. Louis Ludwig looks too high in the weights at present, however, while Woodlark Island has been well below par in two runs this term.
