Verdict
A small but competitive field goes to post for the first on the card but the main protagonists look to be Mr Ben Gunn, Redouble and He's The Biz and we will take a chance on Mr Ben Gunn. The gelding from the Jimmy Frost yard is well in on his best form runs well when fresh and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Redouble rates the main danger he is another that is well in on his best form but his best efforts of late have come with more cut in the ground so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. He's The Biz has one of the top jockeys in this sphere booked so he is worth noting in the market. However he can not be backed with any confidence as he has pulled up on his last two runs. Of the remainder George Street is from a top yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market but he has shown virtually nothing of late so for that reason we are happy to stick with Mr Ben Gunn.
