In depth

Verdict

Butlergrove King has yet to show much improvement for a plunge down the weights while Horseguardsparade is getting no closer to shedding his maiden tag and was beaten in a seller last time. Shady Glen was well beaten on his reappearance at Market Rasen but should still strip fitter here and is preferred to Spring Steel, who hasn’t run since October and hasn’t raced over fences since August. PEMBROKE HOUSE has been very frustrating but is almost guaranteed to run his race again with the booking of Richard Johnson a positive in a race like this.
