In depth

Verdict

Shan Blue and Citrus Mark both appear to be on an upward curve but the latter still has a bit to learn about jumping fences while the former only beat RUN ALONG BOY by half-a-length at Southwell in June and Neil Mulholland's charge is 13lb better off now. He was taking on stiffer opposition at Stratford last time and deserves another chance to open his account over the larger obstacles. O'Callaghan Strand is starting to come down the weights again and should be winning soon while Jacks Grey, Ladyvie and Roses Legend could also figure. Winning hurdler On The Bridge has struggled over fences so far however.
