Beltor hasn’t won for two years and doesn’t stand much racing but he’s dropped to a very lenient mark. Sayar has been showing his best form over longer trips and EL BORRACHO makes more appeal. He never figured at Newcastle last time but that was a strange race in which the winner was allowed to poach an unassailable lead without been unduly pressed. Oliver Greenall’s charge has had wind surgery since and Harry Skelton rides. Valentino Dancer’s last win came off a higher mark and a change of scenery may have benefited the six-year-old but Fontwell winner Bashful Boy couldn’t cope with a higher mark at Chepstow. Irish import Blue Ribbon is worth a market check but Lost In Montmartre ran over further in France.
