In depth
Verdict
A large field goes to post for this selling race with many in form rivals in opposition including Silent Sound, Misty Ridge and Simoski and we will take a chance on Silent Sound. The seven year old has held his form well since being fitted with a visor and although his winning form is over a longer trip he has been placed over this distance and in the hope that the drop to this grade suits he is taken to score. Misty Ridge is on a winning mark and if he were to return to his best he would be hard to beat, but he has become very disappointing of late so he is opposed here. Simoski is also worthy of consideration he was a good second behind Just Midas last time out and that horse has since held his own in none selling company so a reproduction of that effort would see him go close. Of the remainder Raise Your Glass is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market so we are happy to stick with the top weight Silent Sound.
