Verdict
A small but competitive field goes to post for this novices chase and the principals look to be Kety Star, Persian Star and Sharp Steel and we will take a chance on Persian Star. The six year old won well last time out when defeating Burning Truth and although he has risen in the weights for that win he will not be far away with conditions again in his favour. Kety Star rates the main danger he has been in fair form of late but he gave the impression the handicapper had just caught up with him when fourth behind New Bird last time so for that reason he is opposed on this occasion. Sharp Steel is another worthy of respect he is a course and distance winner who will like the ground and he has definite place claims despite his career high mark. Of the remainder Tactful Remark is on a handy mark but he has two ways of running so we are happy to side with the more reliable Persian King.
