In depth

Verdict

Last month’s Market Rasen third SAFFRON WELLS (NAP) has the best recent form and the highest rating so is difficult to oppose in this claimer. Ascendant is rated only 3lb lower, however, and is receiving 4lb, though only won a seller last time at Ffos Las and isn’t getting any younger. Another recent Ffos Las winner, Deebaj, should be helped by his rider’s 7lb claim while Buonarotti Boy has his sights lowered and looks the pick of the remainder.
