In depth

Verdict

LEAPAWAY has been here twice and won both including a 14l victory last month, when Carolines Charm pulled up, where he was eased on the run-in. A 7lb rise looks manageable though Bathiva looks a very worthy opponent. He won a Class 2 handicap at Uttoxeter in June, his first start since November, and is only up 2lb. The prolific Longhouse Sale was only beaten a neck into third so has to have a chance of reversing the form and gaining his eleventh career success. The veteran Duke Of Navan has been running well but hasn't won since January 2018.
