    Verdict

Almost half of this field are having a first run over fences. Terrafirma Lady is one but she has placed in her last two starts over hurdles while the lightly-raced Head On produced his best run so far when runner-up at Southwell. HOOT AT MIDNIGHT was only headed at the last when runner-up to Kabrit over course and distance in June and collateral form gives him the beating of Heavey. Raven's Tower slips further down the ratings but hasn’t won since 2017 and isn’t getting any younger.
