In depth
Verdict
Four of these have already won over the course and distance. That group includes I'dliketheoption, who found only one too good chasing a hat-trick last time at Newton Abbot. Mercian King came good here earlier in the month but just scrambled home and is 6lb higher now. He was also beaten by Modeligo at Stratford in May. Brave Dancing is only four but has already been placed over the larger obstacles in France, though has his first run today for a new stable. PEPPAY LE PUGH has been a beaten favourite twice since completing a double last month but he hit the front too soon at Fontwell last time and may be worth another chance.
