Verdict

Scoop The Pot beat BELMOUNT a head at Exeter back in November but the latter is now 10lb better off. Recent form figures don’t inspire much confidence but he was travelling well enough when falling at Bangor last time and has dropped to a mark from which he should be capable of winning. Hepijeu seems better on sharper tracks and has gone up 5lb since winning at Fakenham in June while Fortunes Hiding couldn’t cope with a revised mark at Southwell. Wolfcatcher looks a bigger danger having placed off higher marks this summer.
