Verdict
Sumner is sure to be popular with Tony McCoy aboard again after their late flourish secured a recent Hereford success. He may well be good enough giving weight away all round but he's hardly likely to represent value and hasn't always looked that straightforward. Therefore, a chance is taken with MANJAM. Not seen for over a year, the gelding has respectable hurdles form, this isn't the most arduous ask on his chasing debut and many of Tim Vaughan's charges are best caught first time up after an absence. Barron Watlass has every chance of reversing Hereford form with Sumner on these terms too and Sablazo suggested chasing will be his forte after a promising fencing debut here last time.
