Verdict

It's no exaggeration to say that recent worthwhile form is thin on the ground in this. Titans Approach was only beaten a neck when second at Fontwell but is 6lb higher and 0-15 under Rules. Sporting Milan ran poorly over 2m4f here last time but stepping up in trip should suit the former pointer, who was second at Warwick in April. Grey Messenger ran his best race so far here last May but is hardly a reliable proposition. THE LION MAN is only a token selection but he goes best on good going and is probably on a fair mark judged on his fourth at Uttoxeter.
