In depth

Verdict

Bigbadmattie is best watched having a first run in more than three years. CHASAMAX should have gained plenty of confidence from a first success at Uttoxeter and can defy his penalty in what may develop into a shoot-out with Kentucky Hardboot, who won at Huntingdon last month and led over the last in a handicap at Southwell subsequently. Lurgoe is having a first run over hurdles having placed in a bumper while Flat winner Galsworthy has a bit to prove following wind surgery.
