Verdict
The Michael Jarvis-trained Night of Joy has easily the best form of those to have raced before but there are some potentially nice two-year-olds lining up here and preference is for Eccentricity, who gets the vote over Riyma. The last mentioned is a daughter of Dr Fong trained by Sir Michael Stoute and is likely to do better over middle distances next term. David Loder whose stable has been going through a quiet spell saddles both Queen of Poland and Theas Dance, while Michael Jarvis is also responsible for the Polish Precedent filly Georgina as well as Night Of Joy. Michael Bell's juveniles have been in good form this term so Entertain, a half-sister to Baileys Dancer, has to be respected. The vote though goes to Eccentricity. There was a time when Henry Cecil's early juveniles could be backed blind with some confidence and, while that may no longer be the case, Eccentricity makes plenty of appeal on pedigree. A Kingmambo sister to the useful Limnos, it will be a surprise if she does not prove to be good enough to win races and she may be forward enough to score here.
