In depth

Verdict

Kernel Dowery, Carrowdore and Billy Bathwick are three against the field in a tight handicap and the vote goes to the in-form Kernel Dowery. The selection has won his last two races in good style and a reproduction of his latest win which saw him beat Kirkham Abbey would make him hard to beat. Granted he is rising in the weights but he has won in the style of an improver and he is taken to win again. Carrowdore rates the main danger he was a fair fourth behind Dorothy's Friend last time but the drop in trip is not sure to suit and for that reason he is opposed. Billy Bathwick is another that could go well he was he was a fair third behind Realism last time and that form has since been franked so he has definite place claims off the same mark here. Of the remainder Ember Days and Adalar are from yards in form and are worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Kernel Dowery.
