Verdict
Elsie Violet was gifted an easy lead here last week but did stay on under pressure to keep her head in front. However, she now has a penalty and may not be much value for a repeat given the sixth that day, Swiss Peak, was given too much to do and didn’t get much of a run. Carvelas is best on the all-weather while George Formby was tailed off on his handicap debut. CANAVESE was last on her only previous try over this trip but making her seasonal debut. She showed promise in her first season and was quietly fancied last time at Chepstow so could outrun big odds fitted with cheekpieces.
