Maddy is selected with Safebreaker and Royal Soverin put up as alternatives. Quite what Maddy beat last time out is something open to question but she did it well enough at Leicester and on the evidence of the assembled opposition, she is a fair bet to go in again tonight. Safebreaker was once rated in the mid-70's. He hasn't beaten a horse home in turf handicaps in term but this is a major drop in sights. Royal Soverin has placed in two sellers since tried in a visor and will run his race. Colorado Springs has been tried over a multitude of trips and got her head infront over this one in July at Lingfield. The effect of adding headgear looks to have worn off since. Sendeffa and Fortunes Maid are both tried in respective blinkers and visors for the first time. Wogan's Sister is yet to show much on turf but has produced a couple of fair runs on the all-weather.
