Verdict

Frankie Dettori is an eyecatching booking for Lavande and she receives the required nomination. Hurricane Harriet and All Gillani are potential dangers. The selection made the frame on a couple of occasions last year and appears to be running into some sort of form having run her best race of the season in a Wolverhampton maiden last time. The form is nothing to get excited about but neither is today's opposition. Peas In A Pod has had a few chances now and lacks a turn of foot and All Gillani and Hurricane Harriet may pose more problems if their trainers can eke a little improvement from their charges. The former showed improved form on his handicap bow and should be in the mix if translating that improvement back to grass whilst the latter ran well for a long way at Leicester and may have more to offer. We're unlikely to see a flying dismount if Dettori takes this prize but Lavande may be able to provide the ebullient Italian with another winner.
