The consistent Brouhaha is selected ahead of Kimono My House and Azure Mist. The last named hails from a yard that does well at this course and, as he is starting to show more over this sort of distance, he has a feasible chance of making the frame in a race of this nature. Kimono My House comes here after a cosy win on the all-weather at Southwell, where he blitzed his field in an apprentice race 10 days ago. This is a step up in class and, as he already has a bit to find with the selection, he may have to settle for playing second fiddle this afternoon. Old Romney is another with claims on the very best of his efforts and is worth a cautionary look in the betting market. But Brouhaha has the edge in terms of current form and, having gone close on numerous occasions of late, the four-year-old has little to find to grant his yard a welcome change of fortune.
